Egyptian cotton sheets are made with imported cotton, have a high thread count. These Egyptian bed linens are made of long, thick, fiber length cotton in the 32 to 38 mm range. They are soft, breathe well and are long lasting and hence belong to the category of luxury bed linen. There is another variety of cotton from US, referred as the Pima cotton. This type of cotton is silky. The pima cotton bed linens are made of 100 percent Pima Cotton, with a thick fiber length of 35 to 38 mm. This type of bed linen gets softer with every washing.

Silk and satin sheets are other types of luxury bed linens. The sheen and soft structure of these fabrics give a very luxurious appearance. They are comfortable and have soothing effects.
